about
I have a PhD in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations at PUC-Rio (IRI PUC-Rio), and Master's in International Relations from the same institution. My BA in International Relations is from the University of Amazônia. I have previously been visiting researcher / fellow at the Geneva Graduate Institute and the Igarapé Institute. I work with cyber security as well as topics at the intersection of digital technologies, security politics and global south. I am currently adjunct professor at the Institute of International Relations at PUC-Rio (IRI PUC-Rio). I also coordinate the Digital Humanities Laboratory at PUC-Rio (LABHD-PUC-Rio).
I take an interdisciplinary approach that explores the role of digital technologies in Global South security politics, the role of the digital in infrastructuring democracy, and cybersecurity.
